Privacy Notice
This explains what information Grands Pas Learning Center collects about you and your child, why we hold it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal language.

Who we are
Grands Pas Learning Center, Old Main Road, Mansourieh, Metn, Lebanon. The person responsible for your information is the centre's director, Rose Daoud. You can reach her on +961 71 943 868 or at info@grandspas.org.
What we collect, and why
When you send us an enquiry
The form on our homepage asks for your name, your phone number, your child's age and school, what you are looking for, and any notes you choose to add. We use this only to contact you about the free assessment and to prepare for it. We also record the date and the network address the form was sent from, purely to stop automated spam.
When your child joins the centre
To teach your child and keep you informed, we hold their name, date of birth, school year, school, attendance, homework completion, subject progress, and the notes their teachers write after each session. We also hold your contact details and any invoices.
We do not ask for, and you should not send us, national ID numbers, medical records, or bank details.
Who can see it
Your child's information is visible to Rose Daoud and to the teachers who work with your child. Nobody else at the centre sees it. Your Parent Portal account shows you only your own children — parents cannot see other families' children, and this is enforced by the software on every single request, not just hidden from view.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We will only give it to someone outside the centre if the law requires it, or if a child's safety demands it.
Where it is stored
Everything is stored in a database on our website hosting provider's servers. Connections to this site are encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored using one-way hashing, which means nobody at Grands Pas — including Rose — can read your password; if you forget it we can only replace it, never tell you what it was.
Cookies and other websites
We use one cookie, and only after you sign in to the Parent Portal or the staff console. It keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It is not used for advertising or tracking, and it disappears when you sign out.
We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook tracking pixels, or any advertising trackers.
Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts. This means Google receives the network address of visitors to our site. We use no other external services.
How long we keep it
While your child attends the centre, we keep their records so we can show you their progress over time. After a child leaves, we keep their records for two years in case you ask us for a summary or a school reference, and then we delete them.
If you enquire but do not enrol, we keep your enquiry for twelve months — so that if you come back to us we know we have already spoken — and then we delete it.
You can ask us to delete anything sooner. See Your choices below.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you everything we hold about you and your child;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your child's records, subject to anything we must keep for accounting;
- stop contacting you.
Message +961 71 943 868 on WhatsApp or email info@grandspas.org and we will deal with it. There is no charge, and asking will never affect how your child is treated at the centre.
Children
Our services are for children, but this website is written for parents. Children do not have their own accounts and cannot sign in. Everything about a child is visible only to their own parent or guardian and to the centre's staff.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will tell parents directly.
Talk to Rose directly — WhatsApp +961 71 943 868 or info@grandspas.org.
